Vagabond sailor on a restless sea,
thick like brandy and ambrosia,
stares into the newborn sky, rising
phoenix.
At his back
languid nymphs tempt and try
curled in thick kudzu green.
Pawing, snorting, charging cavaliers
burn form honor.
Heartless treachery, uncaring
and still.
Sorrows cloud the valorous ship.
